Workshops and programs such as the 1st International Workshop of the International Cleft LIp and Palate Foundation, designed to provide the most up to date information and strategies for surgeons and allied health professional is obliged to attend such continuing education mission to optimize patient care.

        I wish the organizers and Prof. Dr. S.M. Balaji, all success and hope that this Workshop will promote the principles of medical science in our nation and help increase the quality of life in the Indian subcontinent.
